Milk is from Guernsey, Ayrshire, and Jersey cross dairy cows. Raw milk is sold for
pet/animal consumption only as per Florida state law.
Located about 40 minutes north of Orlando, about 20 minutes west of Deland, about 30 minutes from Altamonte
The cows are healthy and fed free choice hay/grass along with a specially mixed soy-free dairy
grain. No hormones or pesticides ever used. Antibiotics would only be used as a last resort.
Milk is taken immediately into the house and filtered, then placed into glass jars which go into the freezer for
a couple of hours to quickly bring the temperature below 40 degrees. Milk can be purchased in glass jars or plastic
jugs. Most people prefer glass as this is a healthier alternative.
The Guernsey is becoming a rare breed and harder to find in many areas. It is a shame as they are such nice
cows, very loving and docile. They also give sweet, rich golden milk that is high in beta carotene, a known cancer
fighter. Almost all Guernsey milk is A2. Our Guernsey's name is Maple.
Ayrshire cattle are considered by many as the most beautiful of the dairy breeds. They are hardy cows that give
sweet white milk. The fat globules are very small, making Ayrshire milk very easy to digest and also great for
cheesemaking. Ayrshires are also difficult to find and not nearly so common as Jerseys and Holsteins. Our
Ayrshire's name is Mooly.
